Role Description: The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of performance marketing campaigns across major search platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360). In this role, you will support your own book of business, taking ownership of client-specific KPIs. You will serve as the day-to-day search expert for your accounts—contributing to client-facing calls, translating business goals into actionable media tactics, optimizing lead generation and conversions, and growing clients' media spend to maximize their ROI.

Please note: This is a highly hands-on role. You will not be passing off execution to a junior team.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence Client Strategy: Support the client relationship by joining regular calls, reviewing performance data, and aligning with the lead on go-forward strategies to hit target KPIs (CPA, ROAS, Lead generation).
• Optimize & Execute: Manage account pacing and optimization, including bid strategy adjustments, budget allocation, keyword development, ad copy creation, and routine account hygiene.
• Analyze Performance: Pull data from multiple platform sources to uncover trends, develop actionable insights, and translate those insights into measurable campaign improvements.
• Forecast & Plan: Create media performance forecasts and budget allocations backed by data-driven rationale.
• Collaborate: Actively participate in internal and external meetings, taking proactive ownership of next steps and campaign implementations.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor emerging digital advertising trends and effectively communicate new testing opportunities to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience directly managing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, preferably within an agency environment.
• Deep platform knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft (Bing) Ads
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, vlookups, data visualization).
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex data simply.
• A strong understanding of the broader digital advertising and performance marketing landscape.
• Ability to work independently when remote while remaining highly collaborative with the team.
• Extremely detail-oriented with a track record of executing ad trafficking and budget pacing accurately.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) suite of products.
• Direct experience managing campaigns for Hotel/Travel, Education clients or Localized services.
• Foundation in SEO best practices.
• Experience with graphic design or ad creative generation tools.
• Familiarity with using AI tools to streamline digital marketing workflows.

Benefits & Additional Information Compensation ($55,000-$75,000) will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. In addition to a competitive base salary, Brightly Media Labs offers:
