Business Development Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: ASTA is looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our growing team. This role supports the coordination and execution of ASTA's tradeshows (both domestically and internationally), programs, and initiatives designed to engage and support supplier partners. This role helps ensure a positive, seamless experience by coordinating tradeshow sales, logistics, communications, event details, and other activities for both in-person and virtual programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. RESPONSIBILITES

Oversee the Supplier Partner trade show experience including:

Registration, Communications, Floorplans, Inventory, and Post-Event Survey

Event Reporting

Tracking weekly sales

Event Marketing

Assist in drafting marketing plan and marketing copy for supplier partner communications

Special Events:

Oversee Sponsor Invites to the Annual ASTA Globes and ASTA Advocacy Dinner, black-tie galas. Manage escort cards and logistical materials to ensure a smooth sponsor experience.

Provide support to the Business Development Manager

Coordination of Educational Journeys program (FAMs) ASTA’s Virtual Event Logistics

Coordinate and host ASTA’s Supplier Partner Webinars REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel 3-5 times a year (domestically and internationally) Bachelor’s degree Excellent verbal and written communication Attention to detail and extremely organized Self-starter with the ability to stay focused and work in a remote position. Customer service experience PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Microsoft Office, HubSpot, Pheedloop, Webcastcloud, or iMIS Sales/marketing/business development experience or related field is a plus COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Hybrid / Remote Work Options
