Field Auto Appraiser - North Boston, MA

Job Description Field Auto Appraiser: evaluate vehicle damage, write precise estimates, guide customers through the repair or total loss process using in‑person visits, virtual inspections, and written communication. Responsibilities Lead estimate preparation and documentation. Conduct on‑site inspections or virtual reviews of damage. Communicate with customers via phone, email, or video chat. Negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, and carriers. Maintain clear, timely records in claims system. Collaborate with body shops, service providers, and internal teams. Qualifications 3–5 years of auto collision estimating experience using CCC or Mitchell. High School Diploma or GED. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to produce comprehensive estimates. Comfortable with technology and various claims processing platforms. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required. Licensing Requirement Applicants may be required to obtain an adjuster’s license in multiple markets and an appraiser license in RI. All licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire and maintained in compliance with state renewal requirements. Location and Travel Field‑based role located in Boston, MA. You may be required to use personal vehicle until company car guidelines are met. 2 weeks of in‑person training may be required in Dallas, TX. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range: $60,000.00 – $117,700.00, based on experience and qualifications.
