Senior Program Manager

Position Summary

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager providing support to Portfolio Acquisiton Executive for Nuclear Command, Control, Communications (NC3) Sustainment Division (NCL). The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with operating locations at Kirtland AFB, NM and Peterson SFB, CO. The NC3 Directorate’s mission is to provide support to the Program Acquistion Executive (PAE), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPAE NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. This position’s primary role will support program management activituues of the NC3 Sustainment Division. This is a temporary position at Peterson SFB

Responsibilities

Duties to include but not limited to:Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, AFI 63-101/20-101, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs. Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and the pursuit of alternative courses of action. Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.). Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, deployment and sustainment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Support and develop acquisition and sustainment reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Monthly Activity Report (MAR), etc.). Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews. Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management. Understand the different funding types, budgets and the Central Asset Management (CAM) process

Citizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance. Education: BA/BS DegreeYears of Experience: 7 - 10 Years of relevant experience Preferred QualificationsClearance/Access: ICD 704 Eligible Education: MA/MS DegreeYears of experience: 10+ years in DoD/DoW environment, primarily supporting Air Force acquisitions programsTechnical SkillsKnowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle management and Adaptive Acquisition Framework processesExperience supporting Program Management Office (PMO) activities within DoD acquisition environmentsExperience supporting cost, schedule, and performance management activitiesExperience developing, reviewing, editing, and coordinating acquisition documentation and executive briefingsFamiliarity with DoD 5000 series acquisition documentation and processesExperience supporting acquisition reporting activities, including DAES, MARs, and senior leadership reviewsExperience supporting RFP activities and acquisition support functionsAbility to coordinate documentation packages for senior leader review and high-visibility program activitiesInterpersonal SkillsStrong team player mindset and collaborative attitudeAbility to integrate effectively within cross-functional environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable briefing leadership and operating in high-visibility environmentsAbility to communicate effectively with Government, military, and contractor personnelAdditional InformationLocation: Peterson SFB, COTravel: 5%Worksite Type: On-site #LI-DD1
