Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dedicated professional is needed to provide essential care and support for students at the high school level. In this contract position, you'll work closely with students who require additional assistance due to behavioral and personal care needs. Your skills will enhance student experiences and contribute to a positive and supportive educational environment.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm
• 35 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Contract runs from August 2026 – June 2027

Qualifications:

• Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or LNA certification
• Experience assisting individuals with daily living activities such as feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Background in working with students, particularly those displaying behavioral challenges, is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in various situations
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding school policies

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on personal care, including feeding, toileting, adjusting, and mobility assistance for high school students
• Support students with behavioral needs, using empathy and patience to foster a welcoming educational atmosphere
• Collaborate with teachers, school nurses, and other staff to ensure continuity of care and support for students throughout the school day
• Monitor students’ wellbeing and report changes or concerns to appropriate school personnel
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of daily care activities and interactions
• Adhere to school safety policies and best practices for infection control
