Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in a high school environment, supporting students who require additional behavioral and personal care assistance. This contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and offers the chance to provide compassionate support in an educational setting.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00am to 3:30pm
• 35 hours weekly (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct personal care to students, including assisting with feeding, toileting, and adjustments as needed
• Support students with a range of behavioral needs in the classroom and throughout the school day
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and fellow support personnel to ensure a safe, positive learning environment
• Maintain clear documentation in accordance with care protocols and school guidelines
• Assist in implementing individualized care plans developed for each student
• Promote dignity, respect, and independence in all student interactions

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Previous experience as a CNA or LNA preferred, ideally with children or in educational/behavioral settings
• Ability to assist with all aspects of personal care discreetly and professionally
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and reliability
