As our business continues to grow, we're looking for reliable, dependable, and safety-minded individuals who take pride in supporting an efficient warehouse operation and delivering an exceptional client experience.As a Luxury Warehouse – Baler, you'll play an important role in supporting the efficient flow of warehouse operations by safely operating industrial baling equipment and processing recyclable packaging materials. Your work helps keep materials moving efficiently while supporting the teams responsible for receiving, fulfillment, and shipping.This is a full-time onsite position working at our Distribution Center in Maspeth, Queens.What You'll DoSafely operate industrial baler equipment to compress cardboard, plastic, and other recyclable materials.Load recyclable materials into the baler while ensuring prohibited items are not included.Tie, eject, and stage completed bales for pickup or recycling.Monitor baler performance and promptly report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns.Collect recyclable materials from designated warehouse areas.Assist with general warehouse responsibilities as business needs require.Help maintain clear, organized work areas surrounding baling operations to support a safe and efficient workflow.Safety & ComplianceFollow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and established lockout/tagout procedures.Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety shoes, and eye protection.Immediately report hazards, unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or incidents.Participate in required equipment and safety training.Demonstrate Moda's core Values in every aspect of your work.What You'll BringPrevious warehouse or equipment operation experience is a plus, but not required.Experience in apparel, retail, distribution, or luxury goods is preferred, but not required.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.How You'll SucceedCommitment to safety and following established operating procedures.Reliable, dependable, and committed to delivering quality work every day.Committed to being a reliable teammate others can count on.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily productivity expectations.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining organized work areas.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates.Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to regularly lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, operational noise, and moving equipment.Ability to work safely around forklifts, industrial baling equipment, and other warehouse machinery.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safe work practices.Professional AppearanceMaintain a clean, professional appearance while on duty.Wear closed-toe footwear appropriate for warehouse operations.Follow all company safety and dress code guidelines.ScheduleFull-TimeMonday through Friday8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.Schedule may include weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.Additional hours, including overtime, may be required during peak business periods to support operational needs.Compensation$17.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.BenefitsCompetitive hourly payMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysWhy Join Moda Operandi?Joining Moda Operandi means becoming part of a collaborative team that helps deliver an exceptional luxury experience to customers around the world.
