Posted On August 12, 2026 Description Security Officer Department : KH Security Location: Buffalo General Medical Center Location of Job : US:NY:Buffalo Work Type : Full-Time Scheduled Work Hours: 11:45pm-7:45am Shift 3 Job Description The incumbent in this position has direct responsibility for protection of persons and property, prevention and detection of crime and the general maintenance of peace and order. Assist patients, visitors and staff as needed. Education And Credentials High School Diploma or GED required. NYS Police Officer or Licensed NYS Security Guard upon hire required. NYS Drivers License preferred. CPR or BLS Certification within 90 days of hire required. Experience Prior Security experience preferred. Working Conditions Weight Requirement - Heavy (up to 100 lbs) Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Standard Hours Bi-Weekly : 80.25
