Operational Consulting & Web Design for Service-Based Entrepreneurs Company Description The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens is a historic museum preserving the home, studio, sculpture gardens, and 200+ piece collection of world-renowned Czech-American sculptor Albin Polasek. The museum is located in Winter Park, FL and offers guided tours of Polasek's home, studio, and sculpture gardens. The Albin Polasek Museum also hosts the annual Winter Park Paint Out Plein Air Festival held every April. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the museum, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. The museum is looking for someone to work Saturday 9:30am – 4:30pm and Sunday 12:30pm–4:30pm or whenever needed on these two days. Please be sure you are available to work these times before applying. Responsibilities Open the Museum and get the historic house ready for the first tour. Provide orientation to visitors and information regarding guided tours, special exhibitions, admission fees, operating hours, rental opportunities, and other basic Museum services. Guide tours of the historic house and chapel (we provided the script).
