Work Environment

The physical therapist will work in our outpatient office located in the vibrant community of Fords, NJ. Our facility is designed to promote healing and recovery, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and treatment rooms. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients, utilizing techniques tailored to their individual needs within an outpatient environment.

• Implement detailed treatment programs based on established care plans, ensuring proactive adjustments according to patient progress.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and formulating comprehensive treatment recommendations.

• Manage documentation processes, ensuring that all patient interactions, evaluations, and progress notes are recorded accurately and promptly in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engage in effective discharge planning, outlining follow-up care to facilitate continued progress post-therapy.

• Maintain open lines of communication with co-workers, patients, physicians, and insurance providers to foster a collaborative healthcare experience.

• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a DPT at Trails Physical Therapy, you'll have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, primarily focusing on individuals undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. This includes those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your work will play a critical role in assisting patients to regain functional mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong patient-centric approach.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient environment.

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficiency in documentation practices.

• Knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques, modalities, and evidence-based practices relevant to rehabilitation therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
