This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be part of a team that handles a high volume of orthopedic cases.\n Key Responsibilities:\n \n Assist with orthopedic surgeries and other general surgical procedures.\n Participate in precepting and orienting new staff and travelers.\n Manage a busy operating room with 6 rooms and 15-20 cases per day.\n Self-schedule shifts and call, balanced by the OR lead.\n Provide support during holiday and weekend call (5-6 shifts per month).\n \n Requirements:\n \n 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.\n Experience in general surgery, endoscopic procedures, and orthopedics is required.\n BLS certification is required.\n Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred.\n First-time travelers are not accepted.\n \n Preferred Experience:\n \n Labor & Delivery (L&D)\n Gynecology\n Plastics\n Podiatry\n Robotics\n Urology\n \n Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
