Must-have: Candidates must be comfortable with orthopedic cases. Previous teaching hospital and community hospital experience required. First-time travelers not accepted.Description: This position involves working in a busy operating room environment. The daily case load consists of 15-20 surgeries. Candidates will need to assist in precepting and orienting new staff and travelers. Holiday and weekend on-call duties are required, averaging 5-6 shifts per month. No overnight shifts will be scheduled. The facility manages 6 operating rooms. It is expected that all staff work collaboratively and support each other. Candidates should have experience with specialized procedures including but not limited to: Abdominoplasty, Anterior cervical fusion, Arthroscopy, Breast augmentation, Total joint replacement. Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols is essential. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Candidates will be part of an interdisciplinary support team. A focus on patient-centered care is crucial in this role.
