Location: Orange, CA

Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy outpatient clinic environment within a Magnet-designated healthcare system. The ideal candidate will assist with routine clinical and administrative duties while providing excellent patient care and supporting healthcare providers in delivering efficient outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities

Assist providers with routine outpatient patient care and clinical procedures.
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
Coordinate patient flow and support clinic operations.
Provide patient education and assist with follow-up care instructions.
Schedule appointments and assist with administrative duties as needed.
Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are stocked, organized, and prepared for patient visits.
Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards.
Deliver compassionate and professional patient-centered care.

Requirements

Experience

Previous outpatient clinic or ambulatory care experience preferred.
Experience supporting providers in a fast-paced clinical environment preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

Patient intake and rooming.
Vital signs collection.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to quality patient care and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Experience in outpatient or clinic settings preferred.
