Travel CVOR Registered Nurse | Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

As a traveling RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care, you'll work within a premier Level I Trauma Center, renowned as a teaching facility and Magnet hospital-a setting designed to foster the advancement of your clinical skills and broaden your expertise in complex vascular procedures.

Along with supporting surgeons on a range of advanced vascular cases such as TEVAR, EVAR, and carotid interventions, you'll enrich your resume while immersing yourself in a region known for its rich history, vibrant arts, and coastal adventures.


Schedule:

• Day shifts: 3x12 hours, 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday, as scheduled per department needs)
• On-call: 6-8 times per month, including weekends; holiday call may be required

Required Qualifications:

• Active SC RN or Multi-state compact license in hand at start
• Minimum 2 years' recent CVOR experience with ability to scrub and circulate complex vascular cases
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• Willingness to use a radiation badge (provided)
• Not open to first-time travelers; seasoned travel RNs preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate during vascular OR procedures (endovascular, thrombectomy, amputation, AV fistula, and more)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical and anesthesia teams
• Uphold stringent safety and compliance standards
• Adapt promptly to department needs, especially during emergencies or hurricane response periods
