Salary: $55,000 - $60,000/year (DOE)

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a single high-volume cafe for a large multi-unit franchise group operating a well-known national fast-casual cafe brand. This is a hands-on, floor-first leadership role in a fast-paced, counter-service environment with strong peak-period volume across in-cafe, mobile ordering, and third-party delivery channels.

The ideal candidate has prior general management or strong assistant management experience in fast casual, quick service, or a similar high-throughput concept. This company is looking for a leader who builds and retains a hourly team, holds standards during a rush, and takes real ownership of the cafe's numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations and overall performance of a single cafe location.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and control of food cost, labor, and operating expenses.
• Lead the team on the floor through peak dayparts and maintain speed of service targets.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain shift leaders and hourly team members.
• Build and manage schedules that match labor to forecasted volume and budget.
• Ensure consistent product quality, portioning, and presentation across all menu items.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and cafe cleanliness.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste reduction on a weekly cycle.
• Deliver a strong guest experience and resolve guest concerns directly and quickly.
• Execute brand standards, LTOs, and marketing initiatives on schedule.
• Support local store marketing and community engagement to grow cafe traffic.
• Develop bench strength and prepare team members for their next role.
