Nurse Practitioner - Neurology

Meritus Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join Meritus Neurology in Hagerstown. In this primarily outpatient role, you will care for adults with neurological conditions and support inpatient consultations while working closely with neurologists, nurses, and office staff. Position Highlights Primarily outpatient adult neurology practice Inpatient neurology consult support Collaboration with experienced neurologists and a dedicated care team Opportunity to coordinate care with Meritus Medical Center’s Stroke Center Established referral network and access to supporting services Clinical Practice Evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests, provide follow-up care, and educate patients and families. The practice cares for people with conditions such as migraine, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, dementia, tremor, and other neurological concerns. You will partner with the neurology team and referring clinicians to help patients navigate ongoing care across outpatient and hospital settings. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current or eligible Maryland Nurse Practitioner licensure National board certification Neurology experience preferred; strong adult medicine experience will also be considered Why Join Meritus Neurology?
