Journeyman Electrician (Federal Projects) – Lead Commercial and Industrial Projects for 8-koi

Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a critical field leader, driving the successful execution of diverse electrical projects. This role allows you to provide onsite leadership and mentor crew members while ensuring high-quality installations. You will have the autonomy to manage field tasks backed by a company that values passion, excellence, dependability, and thoughtfulness.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Coordinate daily field tasks according to project priorities and technical plans.
• Delegate clear responsibilities to crew members and contractors to maintain strict schedules.
• Mentor and train junior employees to foster long-term professional growth.
• Enforce the safe use of tools and equipment while managing strict safety protocols.
• Resolve real-time technical and logistical conflicts quickly on site.
• Report project status regularly to supervisors, site engineers, and officials.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of electrical trade experience.
• Proven experience in electrical supervision and field leadership.
• Deep, practical knowledge of current electrical codes.
• Valid, clean Florida Driver's License.
• Experience working with rigid and stainless conduit.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a background check to be let into military bases and facilities.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Journeyman License in the State of Florida.
• Current and valid OSHA 30 certification.
• CPR / AED certification.
• Completed Trade Program or Technical Certification.
• Prior experience managing commercial electrical control systems.
