RN - Rehab

Registered NurseThe Rehabilitation RN provides care to patients within a medical rehab setting. The unit consists of 24 beds. Patients may experience cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputations, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, and neurological diseases. Each patient has a dedicated care team that collaborates to develop a personalized treatment plan. Therapy services are provided for three hours daily, Monday through Friday. The average length of stay is approximately two weeks. RN will be responsible for patient management and care delivery. Required skills include acute inpatient rehab, administration of blood products, management of cardiac conditions, Diabetic teaching, and wound care. Teamwork and collaboration with physicians, therapists, and social workers are essential for optimal patient outcomes. Must be able to float to meet facility needs. Required to complete a minimum of 36 or 48 hours per week.Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required. 1 year of specialty experience preferred. Charge experience is preferred. West Virginia or Compact RN License required. BLS certification required (must be from AHA). Acute care rehab experience preferred. Every other weekend availability required.
