Job Description and Duties

Under the general direction of the Captain of Health Care Access Unit (HCAU) and Associate Warden, the Office Technician (Typing) provides clerical support to the Associate Warden & Captain of HCAU. The duties performed and responsibilities associated with the position requires a high level of clerical skills, initiative, independence of action and good judgement.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.

Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
