About the Role - Serve veterans and their families at the CalVet Los Angeles facility, addressing mobility, strength, balance, pain management, and functional rehabilitation - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, OTs, SLPs, and caregivers - Maintain compliant documentation using Liri AI for evaluations, treatment notes, and home-exercise programs - Participate in care conferences and individualized care planning

Schedule - Full-time schedule aligned with the 20252026 service year - Standard work hours with built-in planning flexibility and teletherapy options

Your Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive assessments of strength, range of motion, balance, and functional mobility - Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on client goals and medical history - Provide direct therapy sessions in clinic, teletherapy, and community settings - Educate veterans and caregivers on adaptive strategies, home-exercise compliance, and pain management techniques - Document evaluation findings, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner

What You'll Need - Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program - California PT license (or eligibility to obtain one) - Experience with neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric populations preferred - CPR/BLS certification - Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
