About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR experience required License: Compact or state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience - Experience in Charting Systems Description: The Operating Room Nurse will work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Late call coverage will be required. Two or more years of experience in the operating room is necessary. Basic Life Support certification is required. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. Candidates must present documentation regarding time off during submission. Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Modules are part of the orientation process. Compliance requirements include passing a basic math exam, an OR competency exam, and other specific skills assessments. The facility will not accept travelers with any licensure hits. It is essential to indicate any prior employment at the facility during submission to verify rehire eligibility. Rehire eligibility checks are conducted weekly. Please ensure that candidates are aware of these requirements.
