Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart specialist in en_US located at a healthcare facility, this position involves supporting the surgical team in a variety of tasks within the operating room environment. The role includes preparing sterile supplies, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring a safe and organized operating environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required qualifications include: Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 2 years of experience.
• Responsibilities include setting up surgical instruments and equipment, preparing patients for surgery, assisting with sterile gowning and gloving, passing instruments during procedures, managing specimen care, and ensuring aseptic techniques are maintained.
• During surgeries, the technologist will assist with instrument handling, sponge and suture management, and help with post-operative cleaning and restocking of the operating room.
• The role requires strict adherence to safety and aseptic protocols, with duties performed in accordance with relevant legal and institutional standards.
• Submission of valid certifications and proof of experience is required for application.
