Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2979.42/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and aseptic techniques throughout the surgical process. Responsibilities: Assess patient condition pre-operatively and prepare them for surgery. Administer IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation as required. Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to any emergencies. Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Document all nursing activities, patient responses, and procedural details accurately. Collaborate with surgical team to ensure seamless and safe operative experiences. Qualifications: Hold a valid New York State RN license and primary source verification from NYSED. Possess a minimum of two years' experience in scrub and circulating nursing, IV insertion, and conscious sedation. Certified in AHA BLS and ACLS. Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, technical, and communication skills. Possess an Associate Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
