Occupational Therapist Position

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain
• Experience providing OT services in a school setting
• Background working with students on the autism spectrum preferred
• Ability to develop and implement IEP-driven treatment plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working full-time for the full school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students with autism
• Develop and deliver individualized interventions to improve students' participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other service providers to support student success
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide consultative support to educational teams on sensory and motor needs
