Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to Production Supervisor.The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC.Your role and responsibilities:Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.Qualifications for the role:High school diploma or equivalent requiredKnowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as neededAbility to lift, push and pull up to 40lbsHandle materials that may produce dust, fumes, or vapors requiring respiratory protection.Wear and maintain assigned personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and masks.Participate in fit testing and medical evaluations as required for respirator use.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid.
