This contract role, available for the 2026-2027 school year near Bedford, NH, offers two distinct positions serving 5th and 6th graders. Work full-time (Monday–Friday, 32–37.5 hours weekly) from August to June alongside a dedicated team committed to student success.

The first opening requires a qualified special education teacher to lead a resource room, managing a caseload of approximately 15 students. The second position involves teaching in a Life Skills/Intensive Needs classroom with a small group of three students—each with complex medical or autism spectrum needs, supported by paraprofessionals in a self-contained setting. Both assignments present a rewarding, collaborative environment to truly make an impact.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in special education
• Experience working with 5th and 6th grade students, preferred
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction and IEP development
• Comfort with both resource room and self-contained/life skills settings
• Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
• Experience supporting students with autism or complex medical needs, particularly valued
