Manufacturing Engineer III - 2878 (Multiple positions)

Due to nuclear site access/or export-controlled project requirements, this role requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens and not hold dual citizenship. Candidates must also be willing to work on W2. Work Setting : On-site Contract Length: 12 months (Extendable based on the business requirements) Pay Rate: $50/hr Employment Type: Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support manufacturing and quality operations by developing, validating, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PC-DMIS programming and Siemens NX , along with the ability to collaborate across manufacturing and quality teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Generate, maintain, and validate CMM programs using PC-DMIS v2025.1 . Develop inspection programs in accordance with engineering standards and Product Quality Plans. Manipulate CAD models using Siemens NX 2206/2412 to support CMM programming activities. Prove out and validate CMM programs to ensure accurate inspection results. Configure, set up, and troubleshoot CMM hardware and software as required. Provide technical support to Manufacturing Engineering and train CMM operators when needed. Support daily production by troubleshooting CMM-related issues on the shop floor. Develop and maintain workstation instructions and standard operating procedures for CMM processes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed manufacturing environment. Communicate project updates and technical information clearly with stakeholders. Thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting process improvements and operational excellence. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands‑on experience with offline PC-DMIS programming . Experience using PC-DMIS v2025.1 or similar recent versions. Proficiency with Siemens NX 2206/2412 for CAD model manipulation. Experience validating CMM programs and supporting production environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills related to CMM hardware and software. Experience supporting Manufacturing Engineering and shop floor operations. Ability to create and maintain work instructions and process documentation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications Availability to work 2nd shift is a plus. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quality systems, inspection standards, and manufacturing best practices. Why Join?
