Associate Sales Manager

Responsibilities Lead an agent portfolio, motivate, coach, and mentor agents while providing strategic and operational guidance. Retain and guide Compass agents, fostering a positive company culture. Lead regular office‑wide agent meetings covering growth planning, performance reviews, policy updates, and market updates. Relay market intelligence from the Research team and Business Development to agents. Provide agents with business planning, feedback, and professional development guidance. Become an expert in Compass’ tech platform and demonstrate how to grow their business through tools and programs. Help boost agent productivity by reinforcing best practices through coaching. Track and monitor key metrics that drive revenue and increase efficiency. Ensure a positive work environment, promote positive behavioral attributes, and resolve agent and brokerage issues as needed. Act as a conduit between the local team and agents, supporting sales‑related initiatives aligned with the company’s vision and values. Support corporate strategies by sharing market trends, developing future agent‑management perspectives, and driving adoption of Compass tech, programs, and ancillary services. Partner with Business Development to collaborate on potential agent candidates and lead agents in pitching new business opportunities. Complete agent contract renewals for the agent roster annually. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 2 years of real estate sales experience. Prior management experience preferred. Valid real estate license in the applicable state at all times of service. Must meet state license requirements for any jurisdiction operated in, including broker’s level if applicable. In‑depth knowledge and proven track record in leadership, coaching, and agent development. Strong analytical and operational focus with strategic‑planning ability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High emotional intelligence and ability to handle confidential information. Technologically forward‑thinking mindset. Self‑starter attitude with problem‑solving skills and a bias toward action. Commitment to exceed internal goals consistently. Location Fully onsite, supporting both Bellevue and Kirkland locations. Compensation The salary pay range is $105,000 – $115,000 annually, with potential bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits. Base pay may vary based on experience and location.
