Surgical Tech – Labor & Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3 × 11.5-hour shifts to complete 35 hours per week with alternating weekends. A 60-minute unpaid lunch break is included.
We are seeking experienced Surgical Techs for a Labor & Delivery position. The role involves assisting with various stages of labor and complications, including high-risk antepartum cases and triage. You will be working in a dynamic environment with 1:1 to 1:3 patient ratios depending on the case complexity.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in Labor & Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, Induction of Labor, Triage, and PACU.
- Maintain patient safety and high standards of care during surgical procedures.
- Assist the healthcare team in managing and monitoring patients.
- Be available to float to the Mother-Baby unit as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Previous travel experience is preferred.
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM certification.
