This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced educational environment while contributing to programs that directly benefit middle and high school students.The position supports essential community services including meal programs, transportation coordination, educational field trips, facilities operations, inventory systems, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high standard of service.Job duties include, but are not limited to:Assist with coordination of student meals, including tracking counts and preparing distribution materialsSupport transportation logistics for daily routes, extracurricular activities, and field tripsAssist with planning and preparation for field trips and school eventsHelp maintain inventory systems for supplies, equipment, and program materialsSupport facilities operations, including organization of spaces and readiness for activitiesAssist with processing paperwork related to purchases, reimbursements, and operational requestsInput and verify data using spreadsheets and school information systemsTroubleshoot minor technology or equipment issuesAssist with filing, scanning, shredding, and document organizationPerform other job-related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications: Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.Preferred Qualifications: Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study, Reliable transportation to the school site, Ability to maintain regular attendance during scheduled hours, Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, Ability to follow instructions and established procedures, Professional demeanor and customer service skills, Ability to handle confidential information appropriatelyApplication Instructions: Only applications submitted through the official UNMJobs site will be accepted.
