We want you to be a part of the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) program where you will function as an operations and maintenance technician supporting the MMSC Land Based Tactical Trainer (LBTT) located in Jacksonville Florida. The roles and responsibilities involve conducting preventative maintenance on training system equipment, troubleshooting, and repairing failures to maintain optimal readiness, and ensuring that the LBTT is ready for use by energizing and configuring systems in preparation for training conduct. Additional responsibilities include installing system hardware, software and firmware upgrades and modifications, maintaining equipment inventory records, and managing the inventory of spare parts in support of the LBTT.Our customers are world-wide and so is our reputation for creating original solutions with the latest technologies. Knowledge and experience interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams and plans. Preferred experience with MIL-SPEC and COTS equipment including computers, display systems, communications systems, and peripherals used in surface ship combat systems Extensive knowledge of equipment and systems software. A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of preventive and demand maintenance techniques and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. SecretOnsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
