Clean Room AssemblerLocation: Maple Plain, MN 55359 Pay Rate: $20 – $24/hr, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM Duration: 6-month contract, plusOverviewThe Clean Room Assembler supports the manufacturing of orthopedic implants and instruments for a growing medical device company. This position is responsible for assembling products according to established procedures, performing quality inspections, and maintaining compliance with documented quality and regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate has strong manual dexterity, excellent attention to detail, and previous manufacturing or assembly experience. Medical device or cleanroom experience is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesAssemble orthopedic implants, instruments, and related components according to established procedures and specifications.Perform inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.Follow detailed work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant cleanroom work environment.Use small tools and components to complete detailed assembly work.Identify and communicate manufacturing or quality issues.Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve production concerns.Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.Meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and product quality.Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Previous manufacturing or assembly experience, preferably within the medical device industry.Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small tools and components.Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and product quality standards.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.Ability to wear required cleanroom attire and work in a cleanroom environment.Preferred QualificationsTechnical or vocational training in a related field.Previous orthopedic implant or medical device assembly experience.Cleanroom manufacturing experience.Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO standards related to medical device manufacturing.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.BenefitsHealth insurance.Health savings account.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.Flexible spending accounts.Life insurance.Retirement plan.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
