What you'll do on a typical day:

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and organized
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members
• Loading and unloading material from trucks

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• Intermediate Microsoft Office
• It'd be great if you also have:
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives
• This job requires the ability to:
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Must have transportation
• Be able to wear steel toes shoes
• Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Wrapping, securing, and staging material for shipment

What You'll Do: Support daily operations by moving materials and inventory throughout our facility Operate hand trucks, conveyors, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Perform packing, scanning, kitting, and product counting tasks Verify orders, label products, and utilize handheld scanners for inventory accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with the 7S program Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Assist in securing and staging materials for shipment

What You Need to Succeed: Must be at least 18 years old Ability to perform basic math calculations (with or without a calculator) Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate level) Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of warehouse or logistics experience Flexibility to work a schedule that may include overtime Experience using handheld scanners Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Physical and Safety Requirements: Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
