Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call rotation required with staff
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including possible float to Interventional Radiology
• Floating required to sister facilities
• All travelers are expected to attend staff meetings
• Caseload varies per shift and location
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Orientation hours: 40
• Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 3 CT rooms available with a daily census of 130
• Work with Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7) equipment
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Parking: One-time payment of $20 for a parking pass (nights and weekends only)
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Siemens experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA(R)(CT), SC License
• IR/Angio/Special Procedures experience preferred, including biopsies and drainage
• Key skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen without and/or with contrast, brain perfusion, chest without and/or with contrast, colonography, coronary CTA, emergency department, ICU, isolation precautions/PPE, Level 1 Trauma, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, PACS, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, vascular CTA, and Sectra

This is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility handles a wide range of cases including routine studies, outpatient procedures, cardiac imaging, and Interventional Radiology.
