Opportunity:

Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call required
• May float to like units to meet facility needs
• Provide quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities
• Effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure competency in all procedures performed
• Produce images for the interpretation and/or request of a licensed practitioner
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, cervical, sinuses, soft tissue neck, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular imaging
• Work with Siemens X-ray and Siemens CT equipment
• Chart using Epic system
• Wear teal blue top and black bottom scrubs
• Parking pass available for nights and weekends for a one-time payment of $20
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Experience highly preferred in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS
• Required certifications: ARRT (R) Radiography, ARRT (C) Computed Tomography, SCRQSA, BLS, ACLS, and South Carolina license
• Agency must provide radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Facility is permitted to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Facility:

This facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility supports a wide range of complex patient diagnoses including STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac, and trauma cases. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services and radiology, and the facility serves primarily adult patients with some pediatric population as well as some outpatient procedures.
