Assistant Manager (44102)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and employee management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Receives direction and reports to the General Manager. Assists in the supervision of 2-4 shift managers and 15-50 employees.

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

- Oversee all FOH and BOH operations and make sure they are in compliance with ZFI and Zax, Inc. standards.

- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.

- Conduct employee orientations and ensure all new hires are properly trained.

- Support the sales process by providing product knowledge and assisting with sales transactions.

- Utilize sales skills to drive sales growth and meet sales targets.

- Monitor sales and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement.

- Provide input on inventory and ordering decisions to ensure the store is well-stocked and has the right products to meet customer demand.

Experience:

- Proven experience as a retail store manager or assistant manager.

- Strong background in retail sales and customer service.

- Experience with sales and inventory management.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Non-Essential Job Functions:

-Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:

• Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time
• Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. overhead

Position Requirements:

- Work a 40-hour week minimum

- Must complete a background check

-Subject to periodic and random drug screening

-In-store training program completed

-Online ZFI AM test passed with a 90% or above

-In-Store ZFI Kitchen Demonstrative passed with a 90% or above.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
