Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week

A healthcare facility in Peridot, Arizona is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, monitoring drug interactions, and providing patient counseling.

Responsibilities:
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
• Dispense prescription medications in accordance with physician orders
• Provide patient education on medication use, dosage, and potential side effects
• Monitor patient medication therapies and identify possible drug interactions
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Requirements:
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy required
• Active Pharmacist license (Arizona preferred or ability to obtain)
• Previous pharmacist experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of medication safety
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
