Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions, patient education, and documentation in accordance with established plans of care. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Assist with clinic flow, equipment setup, and patient safety Adhere to state practice acts, payer guidelines, and clinic policies Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, and therapy staff as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current PTA license in the state of practice CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage a full caseload in a fast-paced outpatient setting Orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the clinic for extended periods Ability to assist patients with transfers and exercises Ability to lift up to 50 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr
