Join Our Team as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Carrollton, GA!

Tanner Medical Center, a nationally recognized health system, is looking for a dedicated full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our collaborative NICU team. Work in a modern, newly renovated hospital environment alongside experienced neonatologists, providing advanced neonatal care within our Level III NICU and a bustling newborn unit serving a community with approximately 1,000 annual births.

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 10 beds .
• Manage and support care for high-acuity newborns requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
• Work within a 20-bed newborn nursery unit , providing daily NNP coverage support.
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary hospital teams.
• Participate in a structured shift schedule including 16- and 24-hour shifts .
• Deliver comprehensive neonatal assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Support continuity of care for newborns from admission through stabilization and discharge.
• Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered neonatal care within a community-focused health system.
• This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

• Current APRN national specialty certification REQUIRED .
• Master s degree in Nursing REQUIRED .
• Neonatology training/fellowship - REQUIRED (no exemptions).
• GA Medical License (or willingness to obtain) HIGHLY PREFERRED .
• Clean Malpractice/License History HIGHLY PREFERRED .
• Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) REQUIRED (no exemption).
• DEA must be obtained prior to start REQUIRED (note in submission details).

• Current APRN National Specialty Certification
• Master s Degree in Nursing
• GA Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
• Neonatology training/fellowship
• DEA registration required prior to starting
