Senior-Level Piping Design Technician SpecialistWe're seeking a senior-level Piping Design Technician Specialist to lead piping design quality and execution across complex industrial projects. This role serves as a technical authority, ensuring designs are code-compliant, constructible, and aligned with project scope, schedule, and safety standards.Pay: $52.00- $68.00 per hour DOEWhat You'll Do:Lead piping design efforts or serve as QA/QC authority on projectsReview and guide 3D model-based designs (Revit/CADWorx)Ensure compliance with piping codes, standards, and specificationsCoordinate across disciplines to resolve design and constructability challengesIdentify risks early and drive design improvementsSupport estimating, scheduling, and change managementMentor junior designers and support global workshare teamsWhat You Bring:Associate's degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, or related field12–15+ years of piping design/engineering experience in industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of ASME, B31.3, and related piping codesExperience with Revit and/or CADWorx PlantProven leadership or technical authority experienceStrong understanding of constructability, safety, and cost controlExcellent communication and coordination skillsBonus:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldSemiconductor or advanced manufacturing experiencePipe stress coordination knowledgeExperience mentoring teams and supporting global projectsFamiliarity with QA/QC, earned value, and change control processesLocation: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite) – must live within 50 miles of office
