Radiologist Position at Scotland Memorial Hospital
Scotland Health is seeking radiologists to join our practice in a North Carolina community hospital located on the South Carolina line close to Pinehurst, the coast, and metropolitan areas in the Carolinas. The ideal candidate would have an interest in procedures/interventions and/or neuroradiology. In addition, basic procedural skills such as CT and US-guided percutaneous interventions is preferred, but not absolutely required. The position would best fit a self-motivated individual who is looking to build his or her local practice while enjoying the suburban and rural beauty of the Carolinas. The practice is located at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC and currently has 3 radiologists. SMH is a financially strong, progressive 104 bed hospital with close to 90 physicians.
Living In Scotland County or Nearby Moore County:
- Laurinburg is a smaller, family community with a low cost of living, active downtown, and plenty of space for outdoor activities and recreation. The town is home to St. Andrews University, an equestrian center, and Richmond Community College. Social events include Laurinburg After Five, the John Blue Cotton Festival, the Highland Games, and Springfest.
- Easily commutable, the Pinehurst and Southern Pines areas offer culture, nightlife, parks, shopping, dining, entertainment, sports, and annual events.
- Our location is a short drive to two large lakes and under 2 hours from the beautiful Carolina coasts and metro areas of Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Wilmington. We are a 3-hour drive to the breathtaking views of the Appalachian Mountains.
- Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte Douglas International Airports are under 2 hours from the area. Other regional airports are less than an hour away.
- A variety of educational opportunities are available in the area including charter and private schools, universities, and community colleges.
