CCNA Network Administrator

Salary: $85,000 - 106,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a CCNA certification.
• We require either a university degree or college diploma in Information Technology with 3+ years of IT experience, or a technical diploma or certificate in Information Technology with 5+ years of IT experience.
• We strongly prefer network support experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• We need strong hands-on experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, and access points.
• We expect a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including subnetting, VLANs, routing, topology, and network design.
• We look for working knowledge of VPNs, web and email filtering tools, and cloud-based network solutions.
• We require experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• We need proficiency with Microsoft 365, Office, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
• We value strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• We expect the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• We require excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• We want a customer-focused mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in a Network Administrator role.
• Preferred: Exposure to ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
• Preferred: Experience with IT service desk tools such as ServiceNow, ManageEngine, or Remedy.
• Preferred: Strong understanding of enterprise hardware, software, and network support practices.

• We design, configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls, and security platforms.
• We troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues across network and security environments.
• We support and improve perimeter and internal security solutions such as wireless authentication, intrusion detection, antivirus, email filtering, and web security systems.
• We monitor network performance, analyze trends, and produce reporting to support availability, reliability, and scalability goals.
• We partner with system administrators, database teams, and application owners to ensure smooth integration and strong performance.
• We review, test, and deploy firmware updates, security signatures, IOS upgrades, and vendor patches in line with best practices.
• We ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, configuration guidelines, and licensing requirements.
• We participate in and help lead network process improvements and cross-functional IT initiatives.
• We research and evaluate new network technologies and hardware to support procurement and long-term planning.
• We document work and manage tasks, projects, and incidents in help desk and ticketing systems.
• We provide after-hours and on-call support as needed to keep critical services running.
