We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced Help Desk Technician to join our team in the AV industry. As an integral part of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our staff and customers, ensuring they can work effectively and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including Windows 10, WAN, and O365, in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the financial sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and application problems.
2. Resolve and escalate incidents as necessary, ensuring that all service level agreements are met.
3. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software to ensure optimal network performance.
4. Provide technical support for Windows 10, WAN, and O365.
5. Conduct regular system backups and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity and availability.
6. Maintain a thorough understanding of networking components including CCNA.
7. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
8. Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
9. Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
10. Continually stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Proven experience with Help Desk, Windows 10, WAN, CCNA, and O365.
3. Strong knowledge of system and network security protocols.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a passion for technology and a commitment to learning.
5. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
6. Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on producing high-quality results.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
