We are looking for a Transactional Attorney to join a firm's office in either San Diego (Mission Valley) OR the Coachella Valley (Palm Desert). Either way, this attorney will only commute into the respective office once a week; the role is mostly remote.

This role is well suited for an attorney with experience handling transactional work related to real estate, contracts, or corporate governance. The position offers work life balance and the chance to work with a humble group of collaborative lawyers.

Perks of Firm :

• Work-life balance firm: mostly remote.
• All-hands roundtable brown bag meeting for an hour every Wednesday, round tabling issues with clients (This is what I’m dealing with, what do you think?”). That meeting it has litigation and transactional attorneys to work together to solve client issues.
• Legal symposium event for clients every year – one in Coachella Valley and one in San Diego. All-day event: food, education, vendor/exhibit halls - and only for our clients! They have between 500-750 people in San Deigo, and 150-250 in Coachella Valley. It’s a big deal!

• Low billables : Minimum 1620.

• At least 2 years of experience in transactional legal practice.

• Background in corporate governance, real estate transactions, or a closely related area of law.

• Ability to commute to San Diego or Palm Desert once a week.

• Active bar membership in CA.

• Familiarity with community association law or the Davis-Stirling Act is helpful, but not required.
