The role involves operating the van safely, handling deliveries, and assisting with store operations before or after routes. Daily Responsibilities Delivery Accurately locate and pick orders in store for wholesale customers Build and maintain good customer relationships Ensure timely deliveries of GFS products Perform daily pre/post‑trip vehicle inspection In‑Store Process customer purchases at the point of sale with accuracy Ensure security of assets – cash, checks, merchandise – by following policies Receive and merchandise products, ensuring rotation, quality, and proper end‑cap and planogram execution, as well as top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom organization Qualification & Requirements At least 1 year of delivery driving experience and 1 year in customer service or related field preferred Unrestricted Standard Operators License Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years) Minimum age 18 (required) Must successfully pass pre‑employment checks: drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report (MVR) Able to use a two‑wheel cart with a load up to 350 pounds Able to lift up to 70 lbs Company Culture Gordon Food Service values our customers and strives to create a supportive culture.
