Job Description

• Lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project team members.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to maintain project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, quality standards, and contract requirements.
• Review and approve project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoices.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to clients and senior leadership.
• Manage project costs, forecasting, and financial reporting to achieve profitability goals.
• Oversee quality control efforts and ensure all work meets established specifications and standards.
• Resolve construction issues, conflicts, and delays in a timely and professional manner.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and owner turnover.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

• Proven experience in construction project management within the public, municipal, and/or education space.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and oversee projects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and construction standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
