Position: Sheet Laser Operator Location: Lithia Springs, GA Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Pay: Starting at $20.00/hr Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Job Summary We are hiring a Sheet Laser Operator for a client in the Lithia Springs, GA area. This role operates a laser cutting machine to cut sheet metal in a metal fabrication and production environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with laser cutting equipment and a strong understanding of shop safety practices. Responsibilities Set up and operate a sheet metal laser cutting machine Load and unload sheet metal materials Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or cut sheets to determine specifications Inspect cut parts for quality and accuracy Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain precision Maintain a clean and safe work area Report equipment issues or malfunctions to supervision Must Haves Prior experience operating a laser cutting machine Ability to read basic blueprints or work orders Ability to lift and move sheet metal materials Ability to work a Monday-Thursday overnight schedule (4:30 PM - 3:00 AM) Basic math and measuring skills Preferred Skills Experience in a metal fabrication or production environment Familiarity with CNC or fiber laser cutting systems Forklift or overhead crane experience SKL'D
