In this role, you will oversee a wide range of HR functions-including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and personnel record management-while helping to cultivate a positive, supportive workplace culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong communication and problem?solving skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to employees at all levels. Responsibilities:
- Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Partner with the business on training initiatives, including programs in partnership with local colleges.
- General employee relations associated with a scaling organization.
- Maintain the confidentiality of personal employee information, company information, records, and related issues in accordance with all the applicable laws.
- Administration of all employee transfers, leave of absence, change of status and change of employee information.
- Filing of documents pertaining to employee personnel files, medical files, and work compensation files.
- Communication with employees about any issues, questions, and concerns. As well, as posting notice of all communication throughout the plant.
- Administration of all employee benefits, including Health Insurance, 401K, Company Life Insurance, PTO.
- Additional Duties as assigned.
Schedule/Shift Details
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon-Fri
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5 years' experience in Human Resources
- Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
- Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.
- Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and associates.
- Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites.
- Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information System
- Demonstrated good internal customer service skills
- Proven presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Good computer skills
- Able to navigate complexity and problem solve disputes at times having lack of clarity or ambiguity.

- IL Paid Leave for All Workers
- An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act.? The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment.? An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment.? Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave
