Required:

Prior experience with electrical assembly involving large equipment (such as trucks, trains, aircraft, etc.).
Ability to pass skills test on basic use of wire crimping and electrical tools.
Understanding of manufacturing safety (complying with PPE requirements such as steel toe boots.).
Strong desire to be part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs and climb a ladder onto the top of a passenger train car, and bend and carry large materials through narrow spaces.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide variety of routine installation functions in one or more of the following areas:
Electronic or electro-mechanical operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies in an "Out Shop" environment (think construction site, not assembly line.)
Set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits using multi-meters and other electrical test tools, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
Installation equipment operation (could involve running wires, building harnesses, using power tools, crimping wires, etc.)
Performs incoming, raw material and final mfg. inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
Assist with routine repair and retest products.
May assist with rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
Assist in resolving routine manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.
