Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Acute Care Hospital Travel Job Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,190 - $2,350 Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics Charting System: Epic experience required Orientation: 16 hours Job Requirements At least 2 years of Speech Language Pathologist experience, preferably in an acute care setting Current California SLP license in good standing Current BLS certification Experience with Epic charting system required Strong clinical skills in bedside swallow evaluation, dysphagia, dysarthria, CVA, TBI, and related adult rehab needs Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team Responsibilities Assess, treat, and evaluate patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Perform bedside swallow evaluations and support safe diet recommendations Develop and update individualized plans of care based on patient progress Educate patients, families, and support systems on communication and swallowing strategies Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab staff, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal outcomes Assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides when needed Serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students, if applicable Why Apply for This Travel SLP Job?
